Elaborately Decorated in Gold Gilded Design on Spines. Works Include:JACK TIER: Or, The Florida Reef; THE MONIKINS; THE RED ROVER; A Tale; SATANSTOE: Or, The Littlepage Manuscripts; THE REDSKINS; Or, Indian and Injin - Being the Conclusion of the Littlepage Manuscripts; AFLOAT AND ASHORE; A Sea Tale; and, MILES WALLINGFORD: Sequel to Afloat and Ashore Leather is In Nice Condition Overall, Except that the Satanstoe Volume Has Chipping on Spine End and A Split in Leather in the Upper Compartment on the Spine. Spines Have Five Raised Bands That Create Compartments . The Second Compartment of Each Spine Has a Black Leather Title Label with "COOPER'S WORKS" Imprinted in Gold Font, While the Third Compartment of Each Spine has a Black Leather Volume Label with the Volume Contents Imprinted in Gold Gilted Font. Several of the Labels Have Chipping . Joints Are Solid Condition . Internal Pages are Clean, Clear and Crisp, But Some Minor Foxing in Places (See Photos). Books are Tightly Bound and Should Be Durable for Decades to Come (See Photos). No Bookplates Attached or Other Signs of Prior Ownership. All Three Page Ends Nicely Marbleized. Attractive Set.
