|Publisher||REILLY & BRITTON|
Reilly and Britton, 1910. FIRST EDITION. Very good condition, library rebound in brown with title in gold and library call number on spine. First issue points - list of titles to "John Dough and The Cherub" plus full-page color plates whose iridescent green ink enhances the color and black & white illustrations. Though sixteen plates were originally published, this library binding has only 14 present, plus plain brown endpages though one page of the original two color endpage has been bound as an additional frontispiece of sorts. Clean throughout with exception of back inside cover and endpage which has scribbling. Overall a great value for a genuine first issue of an Oz book with color John R. Neill illustrations. 296 pages.
