Scarce Original Signed In Person By Marlon Jackson
|Publisher||DON KING-JOE AND KATHERINE JACKSON PRODUCTION|
Jackson 5 Victory Tour, their "reunion tour" which would be the last public appearance of this influential group. Extremely scarce in any condition, this program was signed in person by Marlon Jackson on the inside cover in ballpoint pen - strong ink signature, yet does not overwhelm this unique and striking photograph as a sharpie signature may well have done. This signature was obtained during the Maybelline Charity Tennis Event at Bonaventure Florida, at the same time period of the Miami concert of the Victory Tour in 1984. The provenance on the signature is exceptional, as it was received in person by a newspaper publisher who was promoting an event ( see news clipping photo of Marlon wearing a shirt from that event) for African famine relief. The poster quality photographs on each and every page truly makes this program among the nicest of any of the era. A huge 11 x 14 inches, highly glossy covers as is each and every page of this official tour program, which includes many never before seen photos, as well as some iconic shots of Michael and his brothers performing on tour for the last time. Attractive, rare and keepsake from a historical event in music - the Jackson 5 last public performance - signed by one of the Jackson Five in person.
