Original red cloth covers with full sized color illustrated paste on label on front cover - titled in black with red & yellow train cars with smoke blowing out of blue Engine. "Made in U.S.A. NO. 358 Platt & Munk Inc". Overalll very bright and clean copy of an all time favorite story, stitching is loosening at top yet text body is tightly held together, chip to corner of one page, former owner name on inside cover. Colors are bright & vivid. Color Glossy endpages with same color illustration of the train as on cover paste-down, front endpage shows now yellowed tape repair. Frontispiece of Red Train with Brown Front Engine pulling a trainload of toy animals up the hill to the town on Yon, & 2nd car has Yellow Giraffe's Head sticking out with Caption, "She was a Happy Little Train".
