Macmillan Company, 1954. FIRST EDITION, stated First Printing. Complete classic. The outside cover, both front and back have been reinforced with black tape on which title has been written in white ink. The edges of the books are frayed. Inside, the binding is reinforced with tape. Two faded unobtrusive library stamps. It shows handling. But binding is still in place and all pages are there. Really not too bad for a well read classic. The fifth Narnia adventure fantasy, where Bree (a talking horse) and Shasta (a young boy) escape from bondage with the help of Susan, Edmund and Aslan. Illus. by PAULINE BAYNES.
