Red decorated cloth lettered in black on the front panel and spine Book in which Tarzan marries Jane. Dust jacket and title page illustrated by C. Edmund Monroe. Decorations by J. Allen St. John. No Burroughs books listed on the rear panel, instead there are eight Zane Grey titles. A Very Good book with a weak rear hinge, overall square and solid with moderate wear to board edges and some minor soiling to some internal pages. (red 'tweed' boards illustrated with Tarzan riding atop an elephant). Scarce original dj, shows signs of having protected the book very well over the years - 4" tear and creasing to the rear panel. several 1/2" tears and wear to edges, front panel bright. Rear panel lists 9 Zane Grey Adventure Stories for boys. J. Allen St. John; (illustrator). 408 pages.
