Virtually every page provides nature oriented etchings. Sections of the book include : fish,; dogs; insects; and, more. Overall good condition, green boards and spine decorated with gold and black titles featuring wild animals. Repaired with text block being glued to complete binding. Few early pages and a handful of others loose but in place. One interior page missing .25 of page. Beautiful engravings, many full page. Long considered one of the very finest and definitive wildlife encyclopedias ever produced, and this being from the Victorian era. 795 pages.
