All of the books are clean --inside and out; there are no textual markings; and, there are no ownership markings; bindings on books 1 & 3 are square and solid; the half-title page of book 2 (The Two Towers) has some scaring up against the spine where apparently its face stuck to the back of the preceding page up against the spine and in a couple of places the top surface of the half-title page lifed--not terrible... DJs: All three DJ are all there with just a few small smudges and specks of grime between the three--overall they are quite clean; books 1 & 3 each have one short edge tear with book 2 also two short edge tears plus some noticeable creasing to its front panel.
