Covers are slightly soiled and have some marks. Little marked ex Boots library copy, label pasted inside rear cover, front inside cover label removed, traces of adhesive remain. Size:19cm by 13cm. Very scarce first edition of all time classic. Book produced to war time standards, thus printed on relatively thin stock, yet has endured the test of time much better than many more modern offerings.) Orwell remained a champion of the left, but his own experiences and lack of sentimentality soured him to the revolutionary experiments.
