Winnie The Pooh
Item Description :Dutton, 1929. SIXTY EIGHTH EDITION (though in modern parlance would be considerd FIRST EDITION, sixty-eighth printing. The original Pooh books printed few copies and then reprinted every time demand necessitated them to do so. Thus, this book as published is identical to the very first printing which had first appeared less than 3o9 months before this book.) Very good condition, tightly bound and very cleaa, green cloth covers with gilt titles and decoration somewhat faded with wear through at corners and spine ends, cute little color sticker above title on half title page – which arguably improves the appearance of the book! Illustrated endpages (minimal residue from removed bookplate on front endpage) and “decorations” (classic illustrations in actuality) throughout book by legendary artist Ernest H. Shepard. This is it, the all time classic and a very nice vintage copy for any collection or as a spectacular gift. 159 pages.
