Also published in 1927, within weeks of the First Printing. Overall, book is very clean and bright. Hinges are intact, binding is tight. It's a really lovely copy. Beautiful burgandy cloth boards have bright gilt illustration front and rear, gilt ruled edges on front, gilt lettering on spine and top edge is also gilt. Virtually no wear at corners, half inch at top front that is slightly faded, as is the spine. Light rubbing and bumping at spine ends, very slight bow to the front cover. Covers are very, very clean. Former owner bookplate, toning to the half title page. Illustrations by the legendary Ernest H. Shepard are in black and white, as usual for the Milne/Shepard collaborations. Third of Milne's beloved "Pooh" books. This delightful collection of poetry, featuring Christopher Robin and his famous bear, is the third book in Milne's classic "Pooh Quartet."
