Very good condition, Very attractive blue cloth with black titles red highlighting and a paste-on plate with a watercolor portrait of Lincoln that is in immaculate condition, damp stain across bottom and back bottom edge, some surface wear and yellowing, light spotting, wear around the edges and corners. light staining around the edges of some pages (fairly faint on most) inside. Lightly yellowed pages and a few pages are lightly rumpled. Very scarce original dust jacket, staining on back and some on the front at the bottom, large chips missing on the top and bottom of the spine and on the front top edge, split front edge and small holes, small nicks and splits etc around the edge and corners. Color frontispiece of Lincoln and illustrated by other photos, artwork plates, drawings, etc., one plate loose but in place. 416 pages.
