Original dust jacket, not price clipped. Brown cloth with bright gold gilt title and green gilt decoration on the upper cover and spine. Boards are clean and tight. Green endpapers. White dust jacket with color photo of Tolkien in an oval on the upper cover. Back panel of the jacket is plain with four lines of printing in black and green.
